About MiCaRT

The Florida MiCaRT is an NIH/NCI funded partnership between Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and The University of Florida. The MiCaRT centers were established September 2014 to promote and build collaborative research, training, career development and education efforts between FAMU and UF cancer center investigators with the central goal of reducing cancer health disparities within the state of Florida.

MiCaRT is 1st and only NIH/ NCI partnership awarded to two institutional partners within Florida and focused on addressing cancer health disparities in African Americans.
